Does this program give page numbers in search results?

I am thinking about purchasing this program to put on CDs for my instructors/students to use. I was wondering if the results will list the page/slide number of the result for .doc, .pdf. and .ppt files

I'm not able to test because the plugins are only available if you purchase it. The free version only allows searching on websites.

The answer is usually no. The context around the searched for word is displayed but not the number of the page the word was found on.

The only case when this might happen is when you have seperated the document in multiple pages and each page has its own URL. Which is usuually not the case for .DOC and .PDF. I have seen a URL per page for PPT however (with next page / previous page links).
