Hi, Im try to use the cgi version but when tested, comes up with binary stuff as results. Does anyone know how to fix this?

For your description of the problem it is hard to know if it is a problem on your server running CGI's of if it is something like a character set problem.
The CGI is a binary executable file. (like a .exe) and not all web servers support CGIs.
Can you post the URL to your search function so that we ca see the problem and give better advice.
