There is an undocumented config file option in FlyingAnt that will let you set extra mime types.
In the flyingant.conf file add this option,
mime_types mime.txt
This points to a file in the same directory ("mime.txt") that defines extra mime types (filename does not need to be "mime.txt" this is merely an example). In this file you can specify additional mime types, one per line, in the format <mime type> <extension>. e.g.
application/xhtml+xml xhtml
application/mspowerpoint ppt
