You should not rename the template file.
This is covered in these old posts,
search_template.asp instead of search_template.html

search page in to my web design
Hello all
I am trying to incorporate the search page in to my web design. However the first problem I have is I needed to make the “search_template.htm” to search_template.asp. (I user asp includes) Then I needed to alter the script on the search page.asp to accommodate my change in file name.
Okay my issues and it's driving me bonkers. The ASP include files will not display.(I know 100% thry are correctly entered)Would the Zoom Search engine scripts be preventing this?
I couldn’t see a help section on templates, can any one help?
